The Belgian Lawn Tennis League was founded on March 22, 1902. On March 29, 1914, it changed its name to Belgian Lawn Tennis Association. Subsequently, in 1931 it became the Royal Belgian Lawn Tennis Association. Then, on March 3, 1937, it was transformed into an NPO. Finally, on October 11, 1979, it was granted the name ‘Royal Belgian Tennis Federation’.
